Logging in for the first time

  1. Find your contest
  2. To Sign-In
  3. Click on Login located on the top right.
  4. Click on forgot password/username
  5. Fill out the form and click Recover Username & Password
  6. The system should send you an email that will allow you to sign-in.
  7. The system will tell you if it sends you an email or not. If you were sent an email click on the link in the email to change your password. Now you can sing-in.
  8. If the system cannot find you make sure you spelled your name and email exactly how it was entered into the google sheet.
  9. If the system still cannot find you please register as a volunteer and have your affiliate create a ticket at ticket.nhd.org to have your account made into an admin.

Do not share your username/password with others. If you have other staff members please have the register as a volunteer and you can then promote them to be a staff member or admin. Change Role

Set Schedule & Important Dates

  1. Sign-In
  2. Click on Staff Tools -> Contest Setup located in the menu.
  3. Click on Schedule tile
  4. Specify your Timezone and Schedule
  5. Click Save

Customize your Site

  2. Click on Edit located in the menu.
  3. Double Click on anything that has the edit background
  4. Make your changes and click Save

  1. Sign-In
  2. Click on Staff Tools -> Contest Setup located in the menu.
  3. Click on Customize
  4. Click on the page you want to change
  5. Make your changes and click Save

Change Users Role

Promote/demote a user to a new role such as volunteer, judge, teacher, staff, or admin.

  1. Sign-In
  2. Click on Staff Tools -> Directory located in the menu.
  3. Click on the edit pen for the person you want.
  4. Set new role.
  5. Click Change Role.

View / Edit Student Information

  2. Click on Students located in the menu.
  3. Click on the student you want to view/edit.

Link or Combine two student entries

  1. Sign-In
  2. Click on Students located in the menu.
  3. Select the student whose project you want to keep
  4. Click Edit / View Participant
  5. Copy the Project Key
  6. Close the open project
  7. Select the student who you want to join the project who's key you copied.
  8. Click Link to a project
  9. Enter project key into the Team Key / Entry Id slot
  10. Click Link Project
